I listed through a real eatate agent, some bare land I own. I would like to remove it from the market before the time on the contract expires. There are no offers or contracts on the property. I have had a change of heart regarding the sale pf property which my family has owned for over 100 years.

Anyone know what the law is concerning this?

I understand that morally, most relators would cancel a listing upon request. I was more concerned with any laws related to doing such. Usually, there are cancellation clauses in the standard contracts. In my home state, there are such. I looked at the doc’s from NC and found no such provisions for cancellation.

Again. I am looking at the legal ramifications to canceling.
