I need some help. We want to buy land in North Carolina (resonably) to retire in 8 years. I have only done research on the internet and have it narrowed down, I think. We have family that moved to Charlotte so I am looking around the Hendersonville area. We are open to other areas, also, especially resonably priced land.

Thanks Bob, too give more details. I guess ideally we would like to live near a quaint town with at least some recreation options in the area, ie, fishing, lake, hiking, etc. We are really looking for valleys or moutain views, lots of trees. Ideally we would want to build on this land in the next 5 years to use as a vaction home while we wait for actual retirment. I know I am being vague we just want to get on the bandwagon soon.
