Im getting ready to purchase a home and my friend told me to find an agent that would give me a rebate ( a percentage of his/her commission). Is this legal? Im in Charlotte,NC.
No doubt yesterday’s loss was one more nail in John Fox’s coffin as the Panthers’ coach. At best I predict that Cowher will sit one season in "retirement", before he not only calls North Carolina home but also his place of work.
Go Steelers!!

You need to consider that his wife and last remaining daughter living at home have already permanently moved to their new home near Raleigh, and they also have a summer home in NC, and in case you haven’t noticed, there is tension between the Rooneys and Cowher, and he hasn’t accepted his usual extension of contract. He wants out of Pittsburgh.
My husband is in the Marine corp and we just got orders to North Carolina for December to Jan. We need to find a house out in town to rent that will allow our two dogs. One small one Large. We also have two children.
I would like to get my Real Estate License online. I dont really have time to go to classes. Anyone know what website I can get my license on? I do know that you can get your Georgia license online, but I have yet to find one for NC.
I have a character in my new novel who is a real estate developer. What are some typical problems he might run into when putting together an upscale neighborhood development near a major city? In the book, he’s doing this in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA to benefit his mother. I imagine many of the same problems plague developer everywhere in the Western world.
If the project is half done, roads being put in, houses going up–what could derail the entire project?
Zoning?
Power?
Drainage?
Unions?
Finances?
What specifically has caused you grief? Best story gets a Gold Star and my heartfelt appreciation!
Thanks for your help.
Does anyone know a good online school that I can apply to in order to get a real estate license in NC? The more affordable, the better.
I am relocating with my fiance in the next year but we are still waiting on job offers for his career- it is up in the air between Charlotte, Raleigh, Nashville, and Austin. I would like to begin working in real estate when we move and am wondering what I can do to prepare before the big move. If I take an online real estate course, will it transfer to any state- and then I will just have to separately get licensed there for a fee? Or is that incorrect?
Also, I am 22 and do not have a bachelors. Is it difficult to get hired by a broker often when you are on the younger side? I am very mature and professional, but slightly afraid my age and lack of college education could affect my success in real estate. I’m sure this is doubtful, but I am still at that "Wow, I’m a grown up now?" age so I’m constantly questioning things like that.
Thank you so much in advance!
Thanks you so much for the info!
I will do that!
I heard it is cheaper to live outside the city. We were thinking of little river. I just wanted some other places to look. My husband sells boats so he nears to be close to the water. Maybe tops a 30 minute drive. We are looking to live fairly cheap.
